Nude Nails – nails inc. Porchester Square

I was shopping in Boots the other day and wanted to try out a nude nail colour that seems to be all the rage at the moment.

I came across nails inc. Porchester Square which is apparently one of their hero shades due to being one of their best sellers and “bang on trend”.

It’s a lovely muted mushroom shade which works perfectly for daytime wear as it will complement most outfits.

I really liked this product. It was easy to apply, the brush tip was the right size to give enough precision into the corners and edges, without getting the colour all over my fingers.

After the first coat the coverage was good enough, but I decided to apply an extra coat anyway. I painted my nails on Tuesday and most of my nails still look good, although two of them have started to chip away.

Overall I’m very impressed and would definitely consider buying from this collection again. They’re not the cheapest at £11.00 a bottle so I don’t think I’ll be rushing out to buy the entire range. But as they say, you get what you pay for, so if you’re looking for a good quality polish, then I would recommend this.

Green with envy

If you fancy a change from the monochrome look then why not try going green. Whether it’s emerald, turquoise, mint or jade this colour is definitely hot right now. I love the bright jewel colours as my colouring is classed as winter – dark hair, pale skin with pink undertones and green/blue eyes.

And if you don’t fancy rocking a full green goddess outfit, then why not try going for accessories instead. Such as a green bag or belt to complement a black or navy blue combo.

However you decide to embrace the green, do it with style! And if you feel like being a bit more daring, why not team your green get-up with a funky animal print bag. Here are a few of my favourites now where’s my purse I’ve got some shopping to do 🙂
